The Great Tax Fraud
The Great Tax Fraud
NY: The Devin-Adair Co., 1968. First edition, Hardcover. Book Condition: Very Good. 326pp; Book has very little wear and only slight corner bumping, previous owners name on front and rear free endpaper, one page with corner turned out and some minor foxing to both free endpapers, age toning to pages. Published in 1968, the author writes of themes that are very similar to today's situations: The IRS code is full of loopholes, this enables corporations to avoid millions in taxes, the tax code should be simplified, etc. The subtitle of the book says it all, "How the Federal Government Favors the Rich and Exploits the Masses." An interesting book from an author who served in the Navy in 1918 and received his Ph.D. in literature from the University of Michigan in 1923.
