New York: Clovis Press, 1967. First edition, hardcover, 10 1/2 x 9 1/4", oblong; green boards stamped in black and white, illustrations by Edward Gorey, moderate edge wear, some surface wear and stains to cover, age darkened endpapers, light foxing, no dust jacket as issued, good + condition. (Toledano B34). A humorous book which has "a collection of recipes that are a delight to the starving palate but not necessarily a joy to behold." The recipes are also put forth in their degree of difficulty (i.e. after three martinis, after four martinis). They have even tried to "avoid the use of knives, graters or choppers as much as possible." Delightfully illustrated throughout by Edward Gorey.
