Plain Tales from the Hills (Authorized Edition)
Plain Tales from the Hills (Authorized Edition)
Doubleday 1917 hardcover printing. Book is tight and square, red leather, with minimal edge wear and corner bumping. Spine gilt lettering has faded so a little hard to read. Interior is clean, no bookstore stamps or writing. Age toning is present as is common in books of this vintage. Note: there is a swastika symbol on the inside of this book but Kipling saw it as a Hindu good luck symbol and asked it be removed from future books when the Nazi's usurped the symbol.
