An account of the 1902 eruption of Mt. Pelee and the ensuing destruction with rather sensational writing, i.e. "Death! Death! Everywhere!" Not far from the truth however, in that the pyroclastic flows completely destroyed St. Pierre, a town of 30,000 people, within minutes of the eruption.
