Ball Blue Book of Canning and Preserving Recipes
Ball Brothers Co., 1938 Stapled pamphlet, 56p, T-3 Edition, in Good condition. Cover has some creasing and shows wear, minor corner bumping, some inside stains. This pamphlet was published by the Ball Brothers Co, founded by five brothers in 1880, establishing Ball as a household name for glass jars for home-canning. The company is still in business today, although they no longer manufacture the glass jars. This pamphlet focuses on canning equipment, methods of canning, canning time tables, and how to can fruits, vegetables, meat, soups, preserves, and pickles. An informative book that is still applicable today.
