A beautiful, clean and solid hardcover with minimal ex-library markings. George Andrew Lewis was the founder of the Lewis Phono-Metric Method and his books attempts "the permanent cure of stammering and stuttering and all other forms of inperfect utterance of speech and articulation." The author had his own stuttering affliction and the book explores many aspects of the causes of stammering and treatments.
